In the quiet community of Takoma Park, Maryland, 20-year-old Walter Woods III was known as a gentle and quiet soul, the cherished only child of his loving parents. His life, full of hopes and dreams, was tragically cut short on the evening of March 7, 2023. On that day, in the 1700 block of Hampshire Green Lane in nearby Silver Spring, Woods was found unresponsive in a playground area, suffering from four gunshot wounds.
