On March 23, 2023, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Baltimore Police responded to a mass shooting in the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue in West Baltimore. Among the six individuals shot was 33-year-old Ernest Hall, a well-known local boxer and owner of Lightning Quick Fit Gym. Tragically, Hall succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the other victims, ranging in age from 15 to 24, sustained varying injuries.
