In the summer of 2023, a violent act cut short the life of Kenneth Banks, a 40-year-old Black man in Baltimore, Maryland. On the late morning of Sunday, June 11, police responded to a report of a shooting. The initial call led them to the 1600 block of Plum Street, but the investigation soon pinpointed the actual location of the incident to the 4100 block of Grace Court.
