On July 27, 2023, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Baltimore Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3400 block of Potee Street in the Southern District of Baltimore, Maryland. Upon arrival, they found 41-year-old Jason Scott Franey suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds to his back and lower body.
