On the evening of April 3, 2023, the sound of gunfire broke the night air in the 2900 block of East Pratt Street in Baltimore, Maryland. There, they discovered a young Hispanic male, Wilfredo Hernandez-Reyes, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics quickly transported Hernandez-Reyes to the nearby Johns Hopkins Hospital. Despite the efforts of both the officers and the medical staff, his injuries proved to be too severe.
