In the early hours of May 20, 2023, the life of Kenneth Lyde, a 31-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short on a street in Baltimore, Maryland. At approximately 12:20 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Lyde unresponsive, having sustained a gunshot wound to his chest.
