On June 9, 2023, at approximately 8:00 PM, 57-year-old Errick Roy Dixon was fatally shot in Germantown, Maryland. The incident occurred in the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road, where Dixon resided in an apartment complex. Montgomery County Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Dixon in a grassy area behind one of the apartment buildings with an apparent gunshot wound.
