On August 7, 2023, in Easton, Maryland, 55-year-old Ty Brooks was fatally shot following a confrontation on Blake Street. Earlier that day, Brooks had engaged in an argument with individuals in a parked 2018 Land Rover Range Rover. He initially left the scene but later returned on an ATV, armed with a shotgun, to confront the same individuals.
