In the quiet town of Easton, Maryland, a verbal dispute on a summer evening escalated into a fatal encounter that claimed the life of 55-year-old Ty Brooks-Bey. On the evening of August 7, 2023, police responded to a report of a gunshot victim and found Brooks-Bey lying in the grass near Blake Street with gunshot wounds. Despite the life-saving efforts of police and paramedics, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
