In the late evening hours of September 10, 2023, tragedy struck in Oxon Hill, Maryland, when 30-year-old Lamont Oxley of Washington D.C. was fatally shot. The incident, which also claimed the life of his 28-year-old cousin Charles Oxley of Oxon Hill, unfolded around 11:10 p.m. in the 5500 block of Livingston Terrace.
