In the fading afternoon light of a late September day in Baltimore, tragedy struck, leaving two families heartbroken and a community searching for answers. On Sunday, September 24, 2023, Robert Clifford Weddington Jr., a 23-year-old Black male, was in the 2600 block of West Patapsco Avenue when violence erupted. In an incident that shattered the day's calm, both Weddington and another man, 25-year-old Benjamin Lemon, were shot.
