On November 10, 2023, Baltimore County Police responded to a residence in the 3400 block of Kelox Road in Gwynn Oak, Maryland, where they discovered 81-year-old Jaward David Hannah deceased in his garage. Hannah was found handcuffed, lying in a pool of blood, having suffered a gunshot wound to the head. His wallet was missing, and his pants pockets appeared to have been rummaged through.
