On a Saturday afternoon, at approximately 3:00 p.m. on December 2, 2023, the life of 69-year-old Anton Kancir, a male resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. While waiting at a bus stop in the 4000 block of Edmondson Avenue in Southwest Baltimore, he was fatally shot. Southwest District patrol officers, who were in the vicinity of Edmondson Avenue and Wildwood Parkway, were flagged down and directed to the scene.
