On December 2, 2023, Anton Kancir, a 69-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the southwest district of the city, where Kancir was discovered with a gunshot wound to the face. Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead shortly after.
