In the early morning hours of January 17, 2024, 37-year-old Alex Ramirez Garcia was diligently clearing snow from the parking lot of a Montessori school in Ellicott City, Maryland. Tragically, his workday was cut short when he was fatally shot. A citizen discovered Mr. Garcia outside his vehicle later that morning around 8:45 a.m., suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators believe he may have been shot hours before he was found.
