Officers from the Phoenix Police Department responded to an alarm at a Phoenix smoke shop Friday night where they found a lone employee dead from apparent gun shot wounds, police say.

Police have identified the victim as 35-year-old Ahmed Fahmi.

Police said they arrived at the smoke shop near 7th Avenue and Hatcher Road, a few minutes before 10:30 p.m.
