In the summer of 2024, the life of Celina Sue Smith, a 38-year-old Caucasian woman from Cumberland, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On the morning of June 30, 2024, in the South End area of the city, a shooting incident occurred that would leave Smith gravely injured. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported her to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for urgent medical attention.
