In the early morning hours of July 9, 2023, a disturbance shattered the quiet of the 2500 block of Broadway Street in Dubuque, Iowa. The altercation escalated tragically, ending with the sound of several gunshots. When police arrived at the scene around 2:30 a.m., they discovered a chaotic situation with four adults suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was a 36-year-old Black male named Allen Taylor.
Emergency responders transported Taylor to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital
