In the summer of 2024, a life was tragically cut short in the Western District of Baltimore. On the afternoon of August 10th, police were called to a home in the 1100 block of Tiffany Court. Inside, they discovered 49-year-old Sean Henson Sr., a Black male, suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived swiftly and transported him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The investigation into the death of Sean Henson
Sr. moved forward over the next few days. The Baltimore Police Department identified a suspect in the fatal shooting. On August 13, 41-year-old Mandaria Jessup turned himself into police headquarters. Following his surrender, Jessup was formally charged with first-degree murder in connection with Henson's death.
After being charged, Mandaria Jessup was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. While an arrest has been made, the motive for the shooting has not been publicly released by authorities. The case is expected to proceed through the criminal justice system.
