On September 21, 2024, at approximately 12:57 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old George Edward Massey III suffering from a gunshot wound. Massey was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
