On December 24, 2023, 22-year-old Elijah D. Dodson of Milwaukee was fatally shot in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. in the 100 block of South Walnut Street, near a popular area for late-night food trucks.
