On a Sunday afternoon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 25-year-old Latravis Lamont Lucas was tragically cut short. On January 21, 2024, in the vicinity of 76th and Hampton Avenue, Lucas was fatally shot. The incident prompted an investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department as they sought to understand the circumstances that led to the shooting.
Following the event, authorities identified a suspect in the fatal shooting. The investigation led to the arrest of Donte Jenkins.
Jenkins was subsequently charged with first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the death of Latravis Lucas.
The legal proceedings against Donte Jenkins culminated in a jury finding him guilty of the charges brought against him.
