In the late hours of a summer Tuesday in Milwaukee, the life of 20-year-old Jesus Huerta-Correa, a Hispanic male known to many as "Chuy," was brought to a violent and sudden end. On July 23, 2024, in an alley in the 1400 block of S. 23rd Street, a place familiar to the Southside community, the vibrant young entrepreneur was shot multiple times.
