On a summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 19-year-old Jessie L. Chaney Jr., a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On July 11, 2023, near the intersection of 27th and Kilbourn, what began as a conversation between two young men escalated into a fatal encounter.
