On October 12, 2024, 27-year-old Edward V. Allen Jr. was fatally shot in a double shooting incident on the 4900 block of North 39th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified Allen as the deceased victim. A second 27-year-old individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite paramedics' efforts, Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.
