In the early morning hours of May 7, 2023, a disturbance call led Oklahoma City police to a residence on South Rotary Drive. At the scene, they discovered 26-year-old Tommy Lewis, a Black male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to OU Medical Center but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Another man, 21-year-old Dajaun Davis, was also wounded in the same incident but had arrived at the hospital on his own. Davis was treated for his injuries and later released.
