In the evening hours of a spring day in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of 29-year-old James Edward Tottress was brought to a violent and tragic end. On Sunday, May 14, 2023, Tottress was fatally shot at the Towne Square Apartments, a housing complex located near the intersection of Apache Street and North Peoria Avenue.
