In a wooded area near the railroad tracks in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of 40-year-old Alcides Monroig was tragically cut short on the night of February 24, 2024. Monroig, a male, was at a homeless encampment when the sound of gunfire shattered the midnight quiet. When Tulsa Police officers were flagged down and led to the scene, they discovered two individuals in their tents had been shot.
