On January 22, 2023, at approximately 1:44 am, a tragic incident occurred in Tacoma's Stadium District, resulting in the death of 47-year-old Jevon Gipson. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office reported that Gipson, a resident of Federal Way, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
