In the early morning hours of January 22, 2023, the life of 47-year-old Jevon Gipson, a male resident of Federal Way, was tragically cut short in Tacoma's Stadium District. At approximately 1:44 a.m., a 911 call was placed reporting the sound of gunshots emanating from an apartment located in the 100 block of St. Helens Avenue. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene.
