Brenda Matchett, a 55-year-old mother of six and grandmother of ten, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident near Kent, Washington, on May 9, 2023. The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of South 277th Street and Green River Road South, close to the Don E. Wickstrom Bridge and the 277th Street Corridor Trail.
