On the evening of Friday, February 16, 2024, in Sunnyside, Washington, a burst of gunfire shattered the night and ended the lives of two young brothers. 13-year-old Hispanic male, Isaak Hernandez, and his 17-year-old brother, Maurice Hernandez, were fatally shot while they waited in a vehicle. The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of East Edison Avenue.
