In the early evening of June 14, 2024, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a Tacoma, Washington neighborhood. Near the 400 block of South 55th Street, shots rang out, and when the chaos subsided, a man lay grievously wounded. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 6:30 p.m., where they found 44-year-old Kenneth Huson, a White/Caucasian male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite the life-saving measures administered at the scene, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced deceased.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office would later confirm Huson's identity and officially rule his death a homicide, a result of the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained.
