In the early morning hours of July 21, 2024, the life of a 40-year-old Caucasian woman, Jackie Wessels, was tragically cut short in her Spokane, Washington, home. Her son, who checked on her every morning, made the harrowing discovery, finding her unresponsive in her bedroom on North Hamilton Street. The Spokane County Medical Examiner would later confirm that Wessels died from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, ruling her death a homicide.
