In the early morning hours of September 8, 2024, a tragic and senseless act of violence cut short the life of 23-year-old Skylar Johnson, a White male, in Seattle, Washington. The incident unfolded shortly before 3:30 a.m. in the Sand Point neighborhood, near Magnuson Park. Johnson, a new father to a two-month-old daughter, had stepped outside his apartment to address a group of people making noise, as his girlfriend and baby were trying to sleep.
