On a crisp autumn morning in Seattle, Washington, on November 3, 1999, the life of 43-year-old White / Caucasian male Russell Brisendine was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire at the Northlake Shipyard. A former employee of the shipyard, Kevin Cruz, entered the office wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses and opened fire, killing Brisendine and his co-worker, Peter Giles, who was 27.
