On November 8, 2024, a tragic shooting incident occurred in the parking lot of a Safeway store located at 2204 West Nob Hill Boulevard in Yakima, Washington. The incident resulted in the deaths of two young men, including 20-year-old Aaron Lamas and 18-year-old Emmanuel Santos.
