Darryl Eugene Stamper Jr., a 41-year-old resident of Springfield, Ohio, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on January 1, 2023. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at 118 South Race Street in Springfield. Springfield Police Division officers responded to reports of a shooting and found Stamper with life-threatening injuries. He was subsequently transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
