On March 11, 2023, Richard Carr, a 62-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot in an incident that has drawn significant attention. At approximately 3:46 PM, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of Lockbourne Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Carr suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical assistance from emergency responders, he was pronounced dead shortly after at 3:55 PM.
