On April 19, 2023, 22-year-old Jaevierre Pete Lamont Greer, a DoorDash delivery driver from Akron, Ohio, was fatally shot while making a delivery. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Timberland Village Apartments on Timber Trail.
