William L. Howell II, a 21-year-old male from Akron, OH, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2021. Howell was fatally shot on a Metro bus at the Akron Metro RTA Transit Center on South Broadway. The incident occurred around 5 p.m., following an argument that broke out on the bus. Witnesses reported that Howell was shot multiple times by Kavon Jackson, a 17-year-old male at the time, who used a handgun during the altercation.
