On May 19, 2023, Kayla Coleman, a 35-year-old woman from Toledo, Ohio, was found dead alongside 49-year-old Jeremy Black in a residence located in the 1800 block of South Broadway. The Toledo Police Department responded to a call around 1:15 PM and discovered both individuals had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The circumstances surrounding their deaths have been classified as a double homicide, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
