Alexander Padilla, a 25-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity from Toledo, OH, tragically passed away on December 29, 2019. He was fatally shot at the Georgetown Village Apartments in West Toledo while trying to check on his sister and her girlfriend, who had been involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect, Verlando Woods. Padilla, along with his friends Paul Lis and Christopher Bazemore, were shot by Woods when they knocked on the door of the apartment where the altercation had occurred.
