On November 19, 2001, 82-year-old Dorothy Rejiester was found dead in her home on Stanley Court in Toledo, Ohio, in what was determined to be a homicide. Her son and daughter-in-law, who hadn’t been able to reach her, visited her residence two days later and discovered her body. The investigation revealed that her home had been burglarized, and among the items taken were a television and a recently issued credit card.
