Stephan Michael Romanchuk, a 47-year-old White/Caucasian male from Hailey, Idaho, vanished in January 2014 after, according to his wife, he had lent money to a neighbor and later confronted him about the loan. Four months later, investigators discovered human remains concealed in a pile of leaves behind a nearby home. An autopsy determined Romanchuk had been shot multiple times—up to five rounds from a high-caliber handgun—painting a grim picture of a confrontation that ended in violence hid ...
