On July 8, 2023, 27-year-old Jonathan Lanum was fatally shot near a residence on the 13800 block of Earlwood Road in Cleveland, Ohio. The incident occurred following a verbal altercation between Lanum and another individual, which escalated when the suspect retrieved a firearm and shot Lanum multiple times. Lanum was transported to University Hospitals, where he was pronounced dead.
