On July 31, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Columbus, Ohio, resulting in the deaths of 30-year-old Demarco Moorer and 33-year-old Ciera Webster. The shooting took place in the 3200 block of Plum Creek Drive at an apartment complex just before midnight.

Officers responded to the scene after reports of gunfire. Paramedics pronounced Webster dead in the parking lot at 12:08 a.m. Moorer was taken to a hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries at 2:13 a.m. on August 1, ...
