On August 10, 2023, Thomas Waddell, a 66-year-old resident of Zanesville, Ohio, was found dead in his apartment under suspicious circumstances. His death was the result of a violent crime perpetrated by his girlfriend, Deborah L. Frazier, who later attempted to cover up the murder by staging a fake home invasion.
