On the evening of January 3, 2026, the life of 36-year-old Michael Moore of Zanesville, Ohio, was tragically cut short. Zanesville Police Department officers responded to a call of a reported shooting at a residence in the 500 block of McIntire Avenue at approximately 7:22 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Michael Moore with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
