Lamar Petty, a 37-year-old man from Cleveland, Ohio, tragically lost his life to gun violence on September 10, 2023. The incident occurred in the yard of a residence near the 18000 block of Fairville Avenue in Cleveland.

Following an investigation by the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit, Anthony Lewis, also 37 years old, was identified as the suspect in Petty's shooting death. A homicide warrant was subsequently issued for Lewis's arrest.
