Sharon Mozingo and Jimmy Shoemaker were found dead inside the residence, while a third person was airlifted to UC Medical Center with serious injuries.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation's Crime Scene Unit and Special Investigations Unit responded to the scene after 4 p.m. on the day of the shooting. In connection with this tragic event, two suspects were apprehended. David Johnson, 46, was charged with two counts of murder, while his wife, Tabitha Johnson, was charged with tampering with evidence. David Johnson is currently being held in the Adams County jail on a $2 million cash bond. She was a loving mother to four children: Maliki Mozingo, Anthony Potts, Billy Potts Jr., and Alexis Potts. Known for her ability to make people laugh and her willingness to help others in need, Sharon enjoyed late-night walks, spending time with friends and family, and playing and listening to the guitar.
The incident has deeply affected the tight-knit community of Manchester, with Police Chief Dakota Brown noting the tragic and traumatic nature of the event, especially in a small town where "everybody knows everybody."
