On June 24, 2024, at approximately 2:45 p.m., 25-year-old Mandrell Antonio Hall Jr. was fatally shot in the 1700 block of Avalon Road on Cleveland's East Side. Emergency Medical Services transported both Hall and a 17-year-old male victim to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where Hall was later pronounced dead. The condition of the 17-year-old has not been publicly disclosed.
