On July 1, 2024, a tragic mass shooting occurred near the University of Cincinnati, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including 22-year-old Shawn McDaniel Jr. The incident took place around 2:45 AM at 306 E. University Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio.
